Sinagra, a center rich in history, framed by the luxuriant nature of the Nebrodi Park and the Naso river.

Famous for being considered the Pearl of the Nebrodi and for joining the National Circuit of Flowering Municipalities, what characterizes it in fact, is the color of the many flowers that make the entire landscape a real feast for the eyes.

In addition to the wonderful landscape, among the historical monuments to visit in Sinagra we find the Castle ruins, a fortress born with the aim of guaranteeing a valid sighting for the local militias which over the centuries became a real residence reserved for the noble families of the area.

Among the religious architectures of considerable importance there are to mention, the Mother Church of San Michele Arcangelo, that of Crucifix need  San Leone. The latter, Patron saint of the country, is celebrated during the evening of Easter Sunday until Holy Monday, while on May 8 a further procession is celebrated with the faithful shouting Viva Santu Liu, asking for grace for his miracles.

How to get to Sinagra

To travel to Sinagra, you can take by car, the A20 and exit at Brolo-Capo d'Orlando Est, about 7 kilometers away from the city centre.

Who travels on train it can arrive at two railway stations a dozen kilometers from the town, located in Capo d'Orlando Naso and Patti-San Pietro.
