The municipality is located in the heart of the metropolitan city of Palermo and has about 1300 inhabitants. The country offers a truly amazing green scenery, being framed in green. The latter protects her from the worldly life that characterizes large urban cities and allows her to maintain her charm to the max, with the chance to find peace of mind and acquire full serenity for a few days.

Things to do in Isnello
Isnello makes available to its public various points of interest among which there is only the embarrassment of choice. A clear example coincides with the mother church of San Nicolò, with a statue dedicated to protector of the town, St. Nicholas of Bari, which is celebrated every year from 29 August to 7 September.
Isnello is famous for an ancient textile tradition that has its roots in the Middle Ages and is still alive today. High-level textile decorations are in fact exhibited at Wefts of Thread Museum, located at the Social Center in Via Impellitteri.
On the other hand, an entire day is dedicated to the typical dish of the town to make the local flavors and aromas known to an increasingly vast public. It's about the Pancake Festival dish based on broad beans, peas, artichokes and wild fennel fried in abundant olive oil, to be enjoyed with bread and wine.
How to get around Isnello
The small size of the municipality of Isnello they will allow you to visit the whole city in a few hours even with one walk, thanks also to the position of its main points of interest, all close to each other.

How to get to Isnello
Isnello, in the Metropolitan City of Palermo, is located at 530 meters above sea level and getting to the town is easy, whether you travel by car or by train.
Who prefers the driving feel, can take the A20 Messina-Buonfornello, up to the exit for Cefalù, about 9,7 km from the center, while those traveling on the train, can get off at Cefalù Station, 10 km from the town, continuing the journey by bus or private shuttle.
