Things to do in Ficarra
The town of Ficarra offers a national cultural heritage really priceless. From the square it is possible to admire the Sanctuary of the Annunziata, the mother church of the town, and then move and climb towards the ancient prison fortress of Ficarra, one of the most important monuments of the village.

The most important event that unites the sacred with the folklore of the town is that of patronal feast dedicated to Maria Santissima Assunta, which takes place every year from 3 to 5 August.

In any case, it is very easy to move around the municipality on foot, to discover the streets of the village, but also the squares and churches, in our opinion, the ideal is to move with your own means of transport (car, motorbike, bike etc.).
How to get to Ficarra
Ficarra, in the Metropolitan City of Messina, can be reached easily in the car via the A20 Messina-Buonfornello, exiting at the junction for Brolo-Capo d'Orlando Est, about 4 km from the town, or on the train, getting off at the Capo d'Orlando Naso station, to then reach the center 9 km away by bus or shuttle.
