The municipality of Gratteri it is only about 70 km from Palermo, the Sicilian capital and is located in the heart of Madonie Park. it is located in the metropolitan city of Palermo and has about 1 inhabitants.
The town rises about 700 meters above sea level surrounded by the greenery of the Ficuzza Wood Nature Reserve , Rocca Busambra, the highest relief of the Sicani Mountains, as well as the highest peak in all of western Sicily.
