Erice, the medieval village in Western Sicily
Erice, just over a thousand, are the inhabitants on the top of Mount Erice, in the medieval village overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The best-served landing point, before arriving in Erice, is certainly the city of Trapani, located about 12 km away. Trapani, reached from the A29 motorway, can be reached via its port, airport or railway station, providing numerous solutions, to then reach Erice along a short route via the Sicilian bus lines, which offer direct trips, or by renting a car .
Also to be taken into consideration is the fascinating e overview of the Trapani-Erice cableway. Another way to get to Erice is represented byPalermo Falcone e Borsellino Airport, about 80 km away, as it is well served by major national and international airlines.
