The event lasts 2 days, with variable dates, but generally takes place in the first week of August and is outdoors, so you can also enjoy the natural spectacle of the surroundings.

If you want to extend your stay, there are also other activities to do near the archaeological site, such as visit Aidone, less than 5 km away, with its churches and the Castellaccio, or stroll along the banks of the Lake Ogliastro, which is about 18 km away. Morgantina can be reached by car or train from the main cities of Sicily.
By car, from Palermo, take the A19 towards Enna, to continue until Aidone.
