It was then repopulated by Charles V with the addition of Campanians and Iberians. In the eighteenth century, the area went back to experiencing a phase of expansion until it was incorporated into the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.

To reach the center of Lipari, just take a ferry or hydrofoil starting from Milazzo, Messina, Palermo and Naples. It is not possible to arrive at the local beaches with the help of planes.
