La Ali Terme beach it is a place that seems out of time and offers an incomparable landscape made up of a crystal clear sea from the blue color that turns to midnight blue just beyond the rocks emerging from the sea and which are a corollary to a wide and pebbly coast.

Description of the Alì Terme beach

Twenty-five kilometers away from Messina and as many from the famous Taormina, the Capo Alì beach is characterized by a wide expanse made up of sands and pebbles that go from the promontory to the mouth of the Nisi. This part of the coast is one of the most spectacular and almost wild beaches on the Aliese coast. There are points where it is one dog friendly beach which allows dog lovers to spend a day with their faithful friend.
Not far from the shore, some rocks emerge which, ideally, are considered as the frontier of the open sea which - it should be remembered - is all in all rather cold due to the currents present. Appreciated by fans of Diving due to the colorful depths rich in fish fauna, it also arouses the interest of fishermen and all those who appreciate uncontaminated nature.

Obviously the beach of Alì Terme is a habitual place for the locals especially during the summer and is a draw for many vacationers who choose to experience the sea in an environment that maintains its physiognomy as it was in the past, respecting the rhythms of nature.

What you can do around the beach of Alì Terme

Alì Terme does not have a significant artistic heritage with the exception of those which are the remains of an ancient one Torre of medieval times named Saracen which rises sheer in the northern part of Capo di Ali. The building has a medieval structure certainly dating back to the seventeenth century and its purpose was to spot the arrival of pirate ships which at the time raged in the seas.

Another attraction that you can visit is the eighteenth century Church of San Rocco, certainly the most important of the town. Originally it was used exclusively for the inhabitants of Alì Marina at least until the XNUMXth century even if, during the summer, it saw the arrival of bathers from other places who came to take advantage of the precious water from the local spas.

Near Alì Terme is Nizza di Sicilia where it is possible to admire the remains of the Castello d'Alcontres which was built between the end of the sixteenth century and the first half of the following century.

How is it possible to get to Alì Terme
