Il San Prospero Park in Catenanuova is a green area that extends for about four hectares in eastern Sicily, in the province of Enna.
In these woods until the mid-eighties of the last century, it was customary to harvest and then donate the proceeds of sales to the local administrators, who organized with these funds earned in the area, the feast of the Patron, San Prospero Martyr, in the month of September.
Starting from 2 September 1985, the Municipality of Catenanuova, in agreement with the Departmental Inspectorate of Forests of Enna, transformed this green area into a real equipped park. The San Prospero Park thus became a unique natural attraction in the area.
The green area, at the appropriate times, is open to everyone, citizens of Catenanuova and tourists, adults and children and only animals cannot be brought into the Park.

Among woods and forests, the green area of ​​the San Prospero Park in Catenanuova extends for about four hectares. The total surface area of ​​the green heart of Catenanuova is divided into four zones of equal size, separated by paths that make it easy to move around the park.
