The Valderice Homemade Bread Festival was born in 2001, promoted by the Fico Cultural Association, which organizes the bread fair in Contrada Fico every year.
THEfood and wine event, which reveals itself from edition to edition increasingly full of surprises and entertainment, is part of a local project for the revaluation of the territory through the promotion of the original flavors of this land: all the guests of the festival, locals and tourists, are thus invited to get to know the most authentic flavors of Sicily, in the setting of a country with a strong peasant tradition, where the structures of the past, used for the cultivation of the fields, are still visible.
