The first edition of the Wild boar festival in Antillo it was held in 2004 because the local administration was looking for opportunities to make this corner of Sicily in the province of Messina a little off the usual tourist routes more and more known. Thus we thought of an event that would focus on the best of local gastronomy, one of the reasons for the great attraction of the public, increasingly interested in getting to know the local culinary tradition up close.
Since the first edition, the event has achieved great success with the public and has been enriched from edition to edition with new attractions within it, to involve a transversal audience including children. Furthermore, there is no shortage of show cooking to learn how to make traditional dishes yourself.

How to get to Antillo

From Palermo, however, the road to follow is first the A20 and then the E90, the same road that can be taken by those coming from Trapani.
From Syracuse, however, you must take the E45, finally from Enna first the A19 and then the E932.

The village of Antillo does not have its own railway station, so those who wish to reach it on the train you will have to refer to the stations of Alì Terme, Letojanni or Nizza di Sicilia and then from there continue with the local bus lines made available by the AST company.
