Roccafiorita is currently a town populated by less than 200 inhabitants, but its history is ancient: already at the time of the ancient Romans, in 36 BC, the hill on which Roccafiorita stands was inhabited; in the Middle Ages the town was incorporated into the larger center of Limina, while in 1610, the Marquis Balsamo founded the original nucleus of the current town, which took the name of Acqua Grutta, growing more and more in the following centuries and reaching autonomy in the 1947. The symbols of this story are visible in the village, from the coat of arms with the red lion, to the Church of Maria Santissima Immaculate, from 1888: this is the only church in the village, but there is another religious building to visit in Roccafiorita and it is the Shrine of Our Lady of Help, which is located on Mount Kalfa.
