The Palace of Culture is also known as Former Francesco Durante Clinic, which bore the name of the illustrious professor who, right inside this building, together with all his students, provided the entire community of Letojanni with important medical support, treating thousands of Letojanni over the decades. After being one private clinic, the Municipality of Letojanni decided to buy it to make one elementary School, among the most frequented by local young people, who grew up within these walls and developed their first friendships, the same ones that accompanied them throughout their lives, also given the small size of Letojanni and the low population. At the end of the 90s it was also thought to redevelop this building to make it a Casino, although the project was never completed. Starting in 1999, the structure was used as a Palazzo della Cultura, a role it still holds today, to host exhibitions and events of various kinds.
