The history of Oliveri Expo begins in 2005: year after year, the Fair has managed to achieve real participation records, both by the artisans and gastronomic operators who have now conquered the 200 stands at the Fair, and by of the public, with over 50.000 participants per year.

Il Municipality of Oliveri organizes a new edition every year, inviting tourists and the curious to participate in this Sicilian tradition fair. Crafts, gastronomy, but also fashion and tourism: the exhibition presents the best ideas and creations of the island every year.

The event takes place in Oliveri, at Oliveri Sports Field, located in Via Roma n. 60. The open-air exhibition space, a stone's throw from the beach, makes the event even more pleasant.

After completing the tour of the 200 stands of the Fair, look around: the sea itself will invite you towards the Oliveri beach, for a walk on the shore, for sunbathing and for a dip in the clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Also discover the historic center of Oliveri, In particular the Mother Church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, the Parish of San Giuseppe and the Castle. The Oliver Castle, hidden among the hilly vegetation, was built in the XNUMXth century and today can also be visited inside, with its sumptuous furnishings.

If you stay in the village for the Oliveri Expo, you will also have the opportunity to explore the surroundings: from Tindari to Patti, up to Milazzo, the centers that surround Oliveri are many and rich in history and attractions.
A Tindari, a few meters away you will find the beautiful Sanctuary of the Madonna del Tindari and the beach, with its famous and beautiful Marinello lakes; in Patti, in addition to the beach, you will find the medieval old town to visit, while in Milazzo you can discover the old town, the port and take a ferry to the Aeolian Islands.

How to get to the Oliveri Expo Regional Fair

Oliveri, in the Metropolitan City of Messina, can be easily reached both by car and by train.
Who prefers to travel by car, via the A20 Messina-Buonfornello, you can reach Oliveri from the exit for Falcone, just 1,3 km from the town; whoever you prefer the train, by booking a ride to the Patti-San Piero Patti station, you will find buses and shuttles to continue the short 7 km journey to the center.
