The History of the Nebrodi Earth Market of Cesarò

The Cesarò Market was inaugurated in 2017, under the patronage of the municipality, and was born from a conception ofslow food diet. A real philosophy of life, for those who choose a conscious, healthy, 0 km diet as opposed to the consumption of processed, non-seasonal or less healthy food.

When the Nebrodi Earth Market takes place in Cesarò

Fixed appointment every third Sunday of the month, the Mercato a Cesarò opens at 10:00 in the morning and operates continuously until 19:00.

On special occasions, special stands can be set up in the exhibition space dedicated to the market, such as that of Festival of Ancient Sicilian Grains and Seasoned bread.

The Nebrodi Earth Market takes place in a large outdoor exhibition space at Villa Aldo Moro in Cesarò.
The municipality is part of the Metropolitan City of Messina and is located at an altitude of 1150 meters above sea level. Villa Aldo Moro is located in Via Sant'Antonio n.66.

Crossing the Nebrodi Park, 50 km further north you arrive on the Tyrrhenian coast of the island, in Sant'Agata di Militello: this municipality which falls within the province of the Nebrodi Mountains, but overlooks the sea, is the ideal place for long walks along the seafront, visit the Campidoglio and the Gallego Castle and, of course, the Duomo.

How to get to Cesarò to participate in the Nebrodi Earth Market

Cesarò is located in the Metropolitan City of Messina, surrounded by the wonderful nature of the Nebrodi Park. Those who wish to discover the Cesarò Market can reach the town by car or train. In the car, take the A20 Messina-Palermo and from here, take the exit for Sant'Agata di Militello, and then continue on the SS 113 in the direction of Cesarò. Who's coming on the train you can get off at the Sant'Agata Militello station and continue by bus to the town.
