L'equipped area of ​​Santa Maria is located at Lascari, a small Sicilian town of about 3600 inhabitants, located in the metropolitan area of ​​Palermo, on the slopes of a hill almost 100 meters above sea level.

Its northern part is lapped by the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, while the western part borders on the center of Cefalù, in an area colonized only starting from the late Middle Ages.
The real inhabited center was in fact founded in the last decades of the 600s by a group of farmers who moved inland from the coast, creating the first permanent settlements.

In historic center of Lascari stands majestic Basilica of San Michele Arcangelo, a building dating back to the eighteenth century containing numerous valuable works of art.

In such a natural context, gently sloping downwards, visitors can take advantage of 7 cooking points, 7 large wooden tables with benches and a fountain that offers the availability of very fresh drinking water.

How to get to the equipped area of ​​Santa Maria Lascari

To get to the equipped area of ​​Santa Maria Lascari you must first reach Palermo: from the Punta Raisi airport you must follow the A19 motorway and exit at the Buonfornello tollbooth and then take the SS 113 and the SP 28 for Lascari.

By train use the Dorsale Tirrenica line to the Lascari -Gratteri stop and by bus you must use the Sommatinese line.
The equipped area is then easily reachable from the town center as it is just a few hundred meters away.
