The small town of Rosolini has an important history and its foundation dates back to several centuries before Christ. It is a feudal village which in Latin times was known by the name of Rus Elinorun. This toponym served to indicate the known area as the land of Eloro and which corresponded to the area where an ancient Syracusan colony rose in the XNUMXth century BC.

Rosolini is very well connected with the rest of Sicily and also offers excellent connections with the airports of Catania Fontanarossa and Comiso.

Those arriving by car from Catania will simply have to take the Syracuse-Rosolini E45 motorway and exit at Rosolini.

Those arriving from Palermo must first take the Palermo-Catania motorway, merge onto the E45 and then exit at Rosolini.

Those arriving from further afield, once landed in Catania or Comiso, can take the AST line bus which leaves every hour and a half from the airport.
