Fondachello di Mascali is the Marina of Mascali, it is in fact located on the coast, just 1,5 km from Mascali. The Municipality, in the Metropolitan City of Catania, is populated especially in summer, where Sicilians and tourists flock to the beaches and for the Beer Festival: arriving is easy from the main cities of the island.

By train, there are two stops to get to Fondachello: Mascali, on the Messina-Catania line, from which the beach can be reached with a walk of about thirty minutes, and Riposto, on the Randazzo-Riposto line, a little further away, about an hour's walk.

By car, on the A18 Messinia-Catania, follow the signs for Giarre and then continue in the direction of the coast.
