What You Will Experience

Start your journey from Rifugio Sapienza in Nicolosi and climb up to 2.504 meters with the cable car. Then, travel to 2.900 meters above sea level in a 4x4 jeep to begin the excursion. Continue uphill for an hour and a half, passing numerous craters and taking ample breaks to take photos and rest.

Experience the unique thrill of being on top of the world in this spectacular rocky setting, with the vast sky above you. After reaching the summit, begin the two-hour descent to the cable car that will take you back to your starting point.

The tour is not permitted for asthmatics or people with heart problems.
The tour may be canceled in case of adverse weather conditions.
For safety reasons, the route up to 3.340 meters high may be modified depending on volcanic activity and weather conditions on the day of the excursion.
Due to seismic factors, the jeep tour may be replaced by a walking tour.
