Finally, in Porto Empedocle the Feast of St. Joseph which takes place between 17 and 19 March of each year the solemn procession and various surrounding sports activities.

How to get to Porto Empedocle

To reach the town of Porto Empedocle coming from Caltanissetta it is necessary to travel about 60 km along the SS640 state road for a journey of about 60 minutes. Instead, from Agrigento the town is only 8 kilometers away via the SS115 quater road and it takes a quarter of an hour.
