The Ventimiglia Tower in Montelepre is among the main structures of the Gulf of Castellammare. It has a very particular appearance, being a prime example of a residential donjon. The construction is important because it bears witness to the lifestyle and influence of the Diocese of Monreale towards the end of the Middle Ages. Its external shape has a rectangular base, with a three-story structure framed by a beautiful battlement clock.

The historical architecture has a height equal to 24 meters, but in the beginning it shouldn't have exceeded 5-6. There is a slight instability on the third floor, perhaps due to a small collapse. The base has fortified walls, with a cross arrangement that forms four rooms on different elevations. Today it has the shape of a large parallelepiped, covered by numerous residential buildings. It should be remembered that it stands on a natural cliff, keeping intact the signs of the rocks that once surrounded it.
