Located just 7 km from Valderice, El Rio Beach Bar is one of the most beautiful beaches south of Monte Cofano, before reaching Trapani.

The beach welcomes you with services ranging from catering to relaxation, with many opportunities for games and fun by the sea. Guests can enjoy light lunches or snacks in the shade of the patio, or play beach volleyball on the sand courts. The establishment offers you services, sunbeds and umbrellas and has free parking.

The Lido of Valderice

This is the Valderice beach, which is located in a basin at the foot of Mount Erice and overlooks the Gulf of Bonagia. The beach is small, with transparent and calm waters, where families with children often meet. This is the ideal place for the little ones, as the seabed is shallow for many meters from the shore.

There are no bars or restaurants on the beach, but it is possible to reach the establishments a few meters away, in the town centre. Near the beach there are areas equipped for camping.

You can take advantage of the short distance from the center to visit the town and sacred buildings such as the Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Misericordia or the Tonnara of Bonagia became a museum. Furthermore, in the surroundings of Valderice you can take a refreshing tour through the hills, reaching up to Erice, where the Castle of Venus is located.

Among the natural beauties of the area, there are the Caves of Scurati, in the municipality of Custonaci, where you can visit the Grotta Mangiapane, an interesting stop to take a dip in the past and admire ancient human settlements hidden in the quarries.

How to get to Valderice

Valderice is located in the Libero Municipal Consortium of Trapani and can be easily reached by car, but also by train.

Arriving by car, from the A29 Alcamo-Trapani, the exit for Trapani is located 8 km from the center of Valderice; on the train the closest station is that of Trapani, about 8,5 km from the town, which can be reached by bus or shuttle.
